Will you contact my bank?

Yes, we’ll submit the claim on your behalf directly to your financial institution.

How long does the investigation take?

The time frame depends on the transaction type:

Checking accounts: 45 or 90 days
Credit cards: Two statement cycles (not exceeding 90 days)

Will this affect my credit score?

No, disputes do not impact your credit score.

Will I receive updates throughout the process?

FraudandDisputes does not send updates, but your financial institution may provide updates regarding your claim’s status.

Can I cancel my dispute?

During the intake process: You can cancel anytime before submitting your claim.
After submission: Contact your financial institution to cancel.

How effective is FraudandDisputes at resolving cases in the customer’s favor?

FraudandDisputes submits your claim to your financial institution for review. We do not evaluate or influence the claim outcome.

Is there a guarantee or recourse if my dispute is not resolved in my favor?

Because we do not influence the outcome of your claim, we cannot provide a guarantee. If you disagree with the outcome, you’ll need to follow up with your financial institution.
